RESULTS OF THE ROUND TABLE «ADAPTIVE ECONOMY AS A MODEL OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE ERA OF DIGITAL AND GLOBAL TRANSFORMATIONS»















On April 23, 2026, within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “AIU – 2026: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Transformation as a Vector for the Development of Youth Science,” the Higher School of Economics conducted a Round Table entitled “Adaptive Economy as a Model of Sustainable Development in the Era of Digital and Global Transformations”. The event has been organized for the third consecutive year within the framework of the research project “Model of Adaptive Economy”.
The moderator of the Round Table was Meiram Zekeshuly Kazhyken, Head of the Scientific School of Adaptive Economy. The event opened with welcoming remarks by Z.K. Smagulova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, PhD. Leading scholars, experts, representatives of business and government institutions, as well as international partners participated in the Round Table, including lecturers and students from Кыргызский государственный университет им. И. Раззакова. In total, 11 speakers participated in both offline and online formats. The discussions focused on enhancing the adaptability of the education system and the economy in the context of digital transformation, the role of science in the development of economic institutions, and the formation of the intellectual potential of society. The participants also discussed areas aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, including ensuring quality education, fostering innovation, promoting economic growth, and strengthening partnerships among government, academia, and business.
Following the Round Table, the participants emphasized the importance of a systematic and interdisciplinary approach to the transformation of education and the economy. Practical recommendations were developed to advance the scientific field of “adaptive economy” implement modern educational approaches, expand cooperation with business, further develop the scientific school, and prepare an application for program-targeted funding for 2027–2028.The Round Table confirmed the relevance of the discussed topic and became an effective platform for professional dialogue, exchange of experience, and strengthening international scientific and educational cooperation.
