Natural disasters that occurred in several regions of the
country since March of this year have strengthened the unity of Kazakhstanis
and multiplied the goodwill of our people. In such challenging times, students
of Astana International University joined efforts and conducted a series of
charitable actions to assist the affected.
Among them were a charity fair organized by students of the
Pedagogical Institute, the opening of fundraising by the organization
"Umit shyragy" and the poetry club "Shanyraq", as well as
other events that reflected the values of AIU students.
The organization "Umit shyragy" has been engaged
in charitable activities for the benefit of university students for several
years. Also active in such good deeds is the poetry club "Shanyraq",
as a result, the crowdfunding organized by these clubs immediately gained the
trust of students.
At the charity fair organized by the Pedagogical Institute
of AIU, students sold their handicrafts and culinary products, and the funds
raised were transferred to families affected by the floods.
We would like to express our gratitude to each and every
student of Astana International University who supported the flood victims of
Kazakhstan. We are proud of you and are confident that with such students our
country has a bright and promising future.
