Astana International University (AIU) CFO Almas
Tynyshbaevich Sultanov successfully completed the prestigious international
Ironman 70.3 Italy Emilia–Romagna 5150 Cervia tournament, which brought
together over 6,000 athletes from 80 countries.
Ironman 70.3 is considered one of the most challenging
sporting events, requiring maximum concentration, strength, and endurance from
participants. The total distance was 113 km and included three disciplines:
• 1.9 km swimming in the Adriatic Sea;
• 90 km cycling along the picturesque routes of Romagna;
• 21.1 km running through the streets of Cervia,
finishing at the historic salt warehouse.
The participation of an AIU representative in such a large-scale sporting event reflects the university's philosophy of supporting healthy lifestyles, endurance, and personal responsibility
