On October 14, 2025, an online
working meeting was held with the participants of the scientific project funded
by the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of
the Republic of Kazakhstan under the program No. AP 26100031 “International
Mediation Hub as a Tool for Peaceful Conflict Resolution and Nuclear
Disarmament: The Experience of Kazakhstan and Foreign Countries.”
The meeting, held in an online
format, brought together 11 leading specialists, including professional mediators,
legal scholars, conflict resolution experts, researchers, and doctoral students
from Kazakhstan’s leading universities. The participants discussed the current
results of the study, exchanged expert opinions, and outlined key directions
for further work within the project.
The meeting reaffirmed the
high relevance of the research, which aims to integrate international best
practices in peaceful conflict resolution and strengthen Kazakhstan’s potential
in the fields of mediation and nuclear disarmament. The participants emphasized
the importance of further developing the scientific and methodological
framework, improving mediation mechanisms, and expanding interdisciplinary
cooperation.
