AIU Department of International Cooperation is accepting applications for the
external academic mobility program for the spring semester of the 2025/2026
academic year, as part of a collaboration with Recep Tayyip Erdogan University
(Rize, Turkey, on the northeastern coast of the Black Sea). The university is
ranked 1500+ in the Times Higher Education rankings.
Astana
International University has allocated 10 spots.Tuition for AIU undergraduate
students within the inter-university collaboration is free; students are
responsible for all other expenses (flight, insurance, visa, accommodation, and
meals).
Accommodation:
Students
are provided with dormitory accommodation. In addition, each participant will
receive a financial aid of $100 to partially cover their dormitory
accommodation.

Who can apply?
• Citizens of Kazakhstan
• Students of the
following programs: 6B03101 International Relations, 6B01701 Foreign Language:
two foreign languages
• Second and third-year
students of secondary education
Participation
requirements:
• A valid passport of the
Republic of Kazakhstan
• GPA: not lower than 3.3
on a 4-point scale
• Applicants for the
external academic mobility program have not previously traveled to study under
this program and are not currently participating in another active academic
mobility program at AIU partner universities.
• English language level:
B2 (IELTS certificate, minimum score 5.5)
• Motivation letter in
English (1200–1500 characters)
Applicants who do not
meet the program requirements will not be admitted to stage 2.
