The Higher School of
Economics hosted an International Research Competition dedicated to pressing issues
of the 'Green Economy in the Context of Climate Change: Challenges and
Prospects,' within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals
(SDGs), including climate action (SDG 13), responsible consumption and
production (SDG 12), as well as decent work and economic growth (SDG 8). This intellectual
competition brought together talented researchers from leading higher education
institutions in the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries,
demonstrating a high level of scientific potential and a strong interest in
finding solutions to global environmental challenges.
