The School of Natural Sciences, as part of Career Day, organized an excursion to the Astana regional branch of the Republican Veterinary Laboratory. Students, accompanied by teaching staff Zh. Adamzhanova and M. Zhumagul, visited the laboratory of Diagnostics of Animal Diseases - head Tulegenova G., «Food Safety» - head Bekeshova Zh. and the department for receiving samples and information - head Sugiralieva L.
Director of the Astana regional branch Alimzhanova G. introduced the students to the activities of the enterprise, spoke about current projects and experiments carried out in their institution.
The activities of the enterprise are aimed at ensuring the epizootic well-being of the country regarding especially dangerous animal diseases. The company provide services for diagnostic studies. It is worth noting that biology-students annually undergo practical training and conduct experiments for their diploma research in this enterprise.
